Set up your account and send your first reminder in 30 minutes

Getting Started with Tadhkir

From sign-up to your first automated WhatsApp reminder in under 30 minutes


Step 1 — Sign Up

  1. Go to tadhkirapp.com and click Start Free Trial
  2. Enter your email and choose a password
  3. Check your email and confirm your account
  4. You'll land on the onboarding wizard

Your 7-day free trial starts immediately. No credit card required.


Step 2 — Set Up Your Business Profile

Fill in:

  • Business name — shown in WhatsApp messages (e.g. "Al Noor Optical")
  • Market — Gulf, UK, USA, or Africa (determines pricing and default language)
  • Vertical — your industry (e.g. Optical, Dental, Salon, Gym)
  • WhatsApp number — the number Tadhkir will send from

Tip: Your vertical determines the reminder interval. Optical = 330 days, Dental = 180 days, Salon = 45 days. See the full list in the Vertical Intervals reference.


Step 3 — Import Your Customers

You can import customers in bulk via CSV or add them individually.

Prepare a spreadsheet with these columns:

  • Save as .csv (UTF-8 encoding)
  • Upload in the onboarding wizard Step 2
  • Tadhkir will validate each row and show errors before importing

Phone format: International format preferred (e.g. +966501234567). Gulf local format (0501234567) is auto-converted.

Date format: Use YYYY-MM-DD (e.g. 2024-08-15). Other formats may fail validation.

Step 4 — Connect WhatsApp

Tadhkir sends via the WhatsApp Business API. During onboarding:

  1. Enter your WhatsApp Business phone number
  2. Follow the verification steps shown on screen
  3. Once connected, Tadhkir will send from that number

Note: WhatsApp Business API registration may take up to 24 hours to activate. Your dashboard will show the connection status.


Step 5 — Your First Send

Once customers are imported:

  1. Go to Dashboard → Recall Engine
  2. You'll see customers who are already overdue for a reminder
  3. Select a customer, choose a template, preview the message
  4. Click Send — the WhatsApp message fires immediately

The automated cron job runs daily and sends reminders on each customer's due date automatically — you don't need to do anything after setup.

FAQ for New Users

How many customers can I import? All plans support unlimited customers. The Starter plan is limited to 500 active reminders per month; Pro and Clinic plans have higher limits.

Can I change the reminder interval? The intervals are set per vertical and based on industry best practice. Custom intervals are on the roadmap for a future update.

What language are the messages sent in? The language defaults to your market setting (Arabic for Gulf, English for UK/USA). You can set language per customer in the customer record.

Can I preview a message before it's sent? Yes — the Recall Engine shows a full WhatsApp message preview before you send.

What happens if a customer opts out? Any customer who replies STOP (or إلغاء in Arabic) is automatically deactivated and will never receive another message.
