General

What is Tadhkir? Tadhkir is an automated WhatsApp retention platform. It sends personalised reminder messages to your customers at the right time — when they're due for their next visit — so they come back instead of going elsewhere.

Who is Tadhkir for? Any recurring-visit service business: dental clinics, optical shops, salons, gyms, physiotherapy practices, veterinary clinics, car service centres, faith organisations, schools, and more. Available across Gulf & MENA, UK, USA, and Africa.

How is Tadhkir different from a WhatsApp blast tool? Blast tools send the same message to everyone at once. Tadhkir sends each customer a personalised message at their specific due date — calculated individually based on when they last visited and your industry's standard revisit interval.

What languages does Tadhkir support? English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Indonesian, Kiswahili, and Hindi. Templates are available for each language across all verticals.


Setup & Onboarding

How long does setup take? Most businesses are live in under 30 minutes: sign up, import your customer CSV, connect WhatsApp, done.

Do I need technical skills? No. The onboarding wizard guides you step-by-step. CSV import handles the data, and WhatsApp connection is guided.

Can I import my existing customer list? Yes. Export your patients/customers from your existing system as a CSV with Name, Phone, and Last Visit date columns. See the CSV Import Guide.

What if I don't have a CSV? You can add customers one by one manually from the Customers dashboard, or start with a sample dataset during onboarding.


Reminders & Messaging

How does Tadhkir know when to send a reminder? It calculates next_reminder_date = last_visit + industry_interval. For example, a dental patient last seen on 2024-01-15 gets a reminder around 2024-07-15 (180-day interval). The cron job checks daily and sends on the due date.

Can I change the reminder interval? The intervals are set per industry based on clinical/industry best practice. Custom intervals are on the product roadmap.

What does the WhatsApp message look like? Personalised with the customer's name, your business name, and your booking link. Example:

"Hi Fatima, it's been nearly a year since your last eye test at Al Noor Optical. Time for a quick checkup? Book here: alnooroptical.com/book"

What happens after a message is sent? The reminder is logged in your dashboard. You can see who was sent a message, when, and whether it was delivered. The customer's reminder count increments and their next reminder date is automatically recalculated.

What if a customer doesn't want messages? Any customer who replies STOP (English) or إلغاء (Arabic) is automatically deactivated and removed from all future sends. This is legally required and handled automatically.

Can I send a manual reminder outside the schedule? Yes — the Recall Engine tab lets you manually trigger a reminder for any customer at any time.


WhatsApp & Technical

Which WhatsApp do I need? WhatsApp Business API (not the regular WhatsApp Business app). Tadhkir connects to your Business API number during onboarding.

Can I use my existing WhatsApp Business number? Yes, as long as it is registered for the WhatsApp Business API. If it's only on the WhatsApp Business App, it needs to be migrated first.

Does Tadhkir send from my number? Yes. Messages appear to come from your registered WhatsApp Business number, with your business name displayed.

What happens if the WhatsApp delivery fails? The reminder is logged as failed in your dashboard. You can retry from the Recall Engine. Email fallback is on the roadmap.


Privacy & Compliance

Is Tadhkir GDPR compliant? Yes. See our Privacy Policy and Compliance Guide.

Do you store my customers' data? Yes, securely in Supabase (AWS infrastructure, EU region). Your data is isolated from other businesses via Row Level Security — no other business can access your customer records.

Can my customers opt out? Yes — replying STOP to any message auto-deactivates the customer immediately. This is enforced at the platform level, not optional.

Is Tadhkir approved by Meta/WhatsApp? Tadhkir uses the official WhatsApp Business API. All message templates are submitted for Meta approval before use.


Billing & Subscription

Is there a free trial? Yes — 7 days, full access, no credit card required.

How do I cancel? Dashboard → Settings → Manage Billing → Cancel Subscription. Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation.

What payment methods are accepted?

  • Gulf, UK, USA, East Africa: Credit/debit card via Stripe
  • Nigeria, Ghana: Card via Paystack

Can I get a refund? Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact [email protected] within 7 days of a charge.


Affiliate Programme

How does the affiliate programme work? Register at tadhkirapp.com/affiliate, get your referral link, share it with service businesses, and earn 10–15% recurring commission for 12 months per referred subscription.

What is the civic affiliate commission? 25% — for referrals of Nigerian political aspirants, parties, INEC offices, and community organisations.
